TROIS-RIVIERES, Jan. 6 /CNW Telbec/ - GLOBEECOM INTERNATIONAL INC.
("GlobeeCom" or the "Company") (TSX Venture Exchange: GBC) announces that it
completed a first closing of a private placement, announced on January 3,
2006, of a maximum of 2,502,222 units, at a price of $0.18 per unit, each unit
being composed of one (1) Common Share and one (1) Warrant; each such Warrant
may be converted into one (1) Common Share of the Company, at a price of $0.18
per share, for a period of two years after their respective issue. At such
first closing, a total number of 1, 660,888 units were issued for a total
amount of $300,400. SociDetDe Innovatech QuDebec et ChaudiGere-Appalaches, an
insider of the Company subscribed for a total amount of $200,000. These
securities can not be sold or otherwise transferred before May 7, 2006, except
without the prior written approval of the TSX Venture Exchange. A second
closing, for the balance, is scheduled on or about January 27, 2006.
Further to this first closing, the number of Common Shares increased to
19,022,580 Common Shares and 1,660,888 Warrants were added to those already
outstanding.
