Fubon Financial Reports November 2025 Earnings Results

Fubon Financial reported unaudited consolidated pre-tax profit of NT$14.09bn and net profit of NT$11.87bn in November. Cumulative consolidated pre-tax profit was NT$139.96bn and cumulative consolidated net profit was NT$120.71bn, with EPS of NT$8.35. For November, Fubon Financial Holdings and its subsidiaries, Taipei Fubon Bank, Fubon Insurance, and Fubon Securities, achieved record-high monthly net profit, while Fubon Life recorded the second-highest profit for the same period. For cumulative profit, Taipei Fubon Bank and Fubon Securities continued to set record highs for the same period, while Fubon Insurance achieved the second-highest level. The performance of the main subsidiaries is as follows:

Fubon Life's November net profit was NT$7.45bn, the second highest for the same period on record. Cumulative net profit for the first 11 months was NT$67.65bn. The main sources of investment income this month were interest income, capital gains on domestic and foreign equities and funds, and dividend income from funds. In the stock market, as the TAIEX fluctuated around 27,000 points in November, Fubon Life realized capital gains in domestic stock positions. In the bond market, treasury yields were range-bound. Fubon Life seized the opportunities to increase its bond position, aiming to secure future recurring income. In the FX market, due to the stock market volatility accompanied by foreign capital outflow, the US dollar appreciated 2.14% against the New Taiwan dollar, which helped Fubon Life accumulate FX reserves. Fubon Life will continue to monitor the market and dynamically adjust hedging positions to effectively manage FX risks.

Fubon Life's cumulative standalone first year premium (FYP) reached NT$105.1bn and cumulative total premium (TP) reached NT$331.4bn, both up 3% and were estimated to rank the top 2 in the industry. Monthly FYP was NT$7.9bn and TP was NT$27.0bn, estimated to rank third and second in the industry, respectively. As Fubon Life continued to focus the product strategy on regular-paid and protection policies, cumulative FYPE reached NT$48.2bn, up 4% YoY and estimated to rank second in the industry. Fubon Life's capital position remained decent, with equity to asset ratio over 10% and RBC ratio over to 400% as of November. Fubon Life will continue to closely monitor exchange rates and market movement, assessing potential impacts to ensure decent solvency position.

Taipei Fubon Bank's November net profit was NT$2.36bn and cumulative net profit was NT$34.77bn, up 34% and 20%, respectively. Both November and cumulative net profit hit historical high, thanks to steady core business momentum. Cumulative net interest income and fee income increased 13% and 14%, respectively, resulting in double-digit growth in total revenue. Total loans grew 12% YoY, driven by growth in overseas, SME, and personal loan segments. Cumulative wealth management fees increased double digits, mainly due to contributions from mutual fund and regular-paid product sales. Credit card spending grew steadily, benefiting from increase in overseas consumption thanks to increased international travel. Asset quality remained benign. NPL ratio and coverage ratio were at 0.13% and 989%, respectively, as of November.

Fubon Insurance's November net profit was NT$0.59bn and cumulative net profit reached NT$6.28bn, up 80% YoY. The core business continued to grow with steady business momentum. In terms of business performance, the direct written premium in November was NT$5.18bn, up 7% YoY. Notably, engineering insurance was the outperformer with a growth of 84% YoY, driven by the expansion of green energy insurance opportunities. Auto insurance and fire insurance also surpassed the market. Cumulative direct written premium was NT$63.29bn, up 4% YoY. The market share in total direct written premium was 24.0%, continuing to lead the market.

Fubon Securities' November net profit was NT$1.11bn, mainly driven by active trading volume and new high in the TAIEX (28,554 points), which boosted proprietary trading income. Monthly profit has exceeded NT$1bn for six consecutive months. Cumulative net profit for the first 11 months reached NT$9.76bn, up 3% YoY, setting new records for both monthly and cumulative profit for the same period.
