Sylvia Bardach Personal details Sylvia Bardach was born in 1962. She is married and has one son. In her spare time, she has a keen interest in health-related topics and non-fiction literature. Education She completed extensive training in the fields of accounting and controlling, as well as corporate management. Professional Career Sylvia Bardach began her professional career at the international trading bank "Centrobank" before joining CDS Computer and Data Systeme GmbH in 1980 as a sole accountant. There, she was also responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive cost and project accounting system. Frequentis In 1989, Sylvia Bardach joined Frequentis, where she took over as Head of Finance and Controlling. From 1992 to 1998, she served as Managing Director of Frequentis' software subsidiary in Bratislava, Slovakia. In 2000, she was appointed to the Management Board of Frequentis, with responsibility for Accounting & Taxes, Controlling, Legal, and Human Resources. Ms Bardach established a central controlling system for the Frequentis Group and implemented SAP within the company. From 3 July 2007 to 15 April 2021, she served as Chief Financial Officer of Frequentis AG. Drawing on her extensive expertise in commercial and legal due diligence, as well as in the financing and execution of acquisitions, Frequentis has grown from a small Viennese company into a global group of companies. In 2021, Sylvia Bardach was elected to the Supervisory Board of Frequentis AG, where she has been contributing her extensive expertise ever since.
