("Fiera Milano" and/or the "Company"), leader in Italy and one of the main integrated operators in the world in the exhibition and congress industry, announces the award of the tender launched by Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 for the contract for services relating to the design, operational management and dismantling of temporary infrastructure that will be hosted at the Rho exhibition centre for the 2026 speed skating and ice hockey sporting events.The activities include a broad range of temporary infrastructural works aimed at ensuring the full functionality of the spaces designated for sport competitions. Among the main planned works:
- Modular and scenographic installations: installation of internal and external structures dedicated to the functional configuration of the competition spaces;
- Grandstands and support structures for spectators: built using decking systems and scaffolding to accommodate audiences, delegations and technical teams;
- Prefabricated modules and operational cabins: changing rooms, staff areas, technical rooms and temporary operation centers serving the competitions;
- Tensile structures and coverings: for the protection and coverage of access areas, logistics support, hospitality and media areas;

The interventions will primarily involve Pavilions 13 and 15, which will host the speed skating competitions, and
Pavilions 22 and 24, dedicated to the ice hockey tournaments.The total value of the contract amounts to approximately Euro 30.7 million. Today, Fiera Milano and Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 signed a binding Interim Agreement to govern the initial execution phase of the activities, which will be fully regulated in the final service contract, currently being finalized.
The execution of the activities is scheduled to commence during the second half of 2025 and to be completed within the first half of 2026. The timing of revenue recognition, as well as the related impacts on the economic and financial results, will be determined at a later stage based on assessments carried out in accordance with the applicable accounting standards. Only once these evaluations are completed it will be possible to determine any potential impact of the contract on the guidance most recently communicated on 13 May 2025. It should be noted that such impacts will be in addition to those already included in the agreements for the use of the Rho exhibition centre - which will host the speed skating and ice hockey competitions - and the Allianz MiCo convention centre, which will accommodate all Italian and international media for the entire duration of the 2026 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games.
