Installation of first pilot projects with concrete photovoltaic roofing tiles
Eternit S.A. - Under Court-Supervised Reorganization (B3: ETER3, "Eternit" or "Company"), in compliance with CVM Instruction 358/2002, hereby informs its shareholders and the market that it has installed the first pilot projects using BIG-F10 concrete photovoltaic tiles in two residences in the interior region of São Paulo state, totaling an average power generation capacity of 985 kWh/month.
The Company also informs that it has started the process of obtaining approval from Inmetro, the Brazilian certification authority, for the photovoltaic version of its traditional fiber-cement tiles.
Eternit has been complying with the phases set out in the development plan and is expected to market the product by the end of the first half of 2021.
The Company will keep its shareholders and the market informed of the developments related to the subject-matter of this Material Fact notice, in accordance with the rules and timeframes established by applicable laws.
