Today, E.ON successfully issued two green bond tranches with a combined volume of €1.3 billion:
- €650 million green bond maturing in May 2031 with a coupon of 3.475 percent
- €650 million green bond maturing in May 2036 with a coupon of 4.053 percent
The proceeds of the green bond tranches will finance and/or refinance Eligible Green Projects as defined in E.ON's Green Financing Framework, which is fully aligned with the EU taxonomy. Commerzbank, Crédit Agricole CIB, Goldman Sachs Bank Europe SE and J.P. Morgan acted as active bookrunners in the transaction.
