Fulda, September 1, 2026 - With Florian Freund as its new Executive Vice President of Sales, the EDAG Group is strengthening its sales organization effective September 1, 2026. In this role, he will be responsible for the strategic management of sales at the EDAG Group level and will further develop collaboration between key accounts, business segments, and international divisions. He brings more than fifteen years of international experience in development, digitalization, and sales. Most recently, as Vice President of Sales at the Bertrandt Group, he was responsible for sales operations within a dedicated sales subsidiary. Prior to that, he established digital services and software-based business models at the ZF Group and supported the transformation toward data-driven products and recurring revenue models. Extensive international sales and technology experience Florian Freund's professional career was previously shaped by various roles at AUDI AG, where, among other things, he assumed leadership responsibilities in the development of electrified powertrain systems. He thus combines in-depth engineering expertise with extensive experience in vehicle development, digitalization, international sales management, and strategic business development. Freund's primary place of work will be the EDAG site in Fulda, from where he will manage the international sales organization. He reports directly to CEO Harald Keller.
