Dutch Lady Milk Industries Berhad Unveils Cutting- Edge Distribution Centre at Bandar Enstek to Power Future Growth BANDAR ENSTEK, 30 May 2025: Leading dairy manufacturer, Dutch Lady Milk Industries Berhad (DLMI) today unveiled its new state-of-the-art Distribution Centre at its manufacturing facility, DLMI@Enstek in Negeri Sembilan. The launch comes exactly one year after the inauguration of DLMI@Enstek and coincides with DLMI's 62nd anniversary; marking a triple milestone in the company's journey.

Constructed in record time, the new Distribution Centre broke ground on August 1, 2024, and was completed by April 30, 2025; marking a significant milestone in under nine months. This facility completes DLMI's ambitious end-to-end production and distribution infrastructure within its 13-hectare site. The project was made possible through strong collaboration with construction partners WSP Engineering Malaysia Sdn. Bhd., TechnyGroup Holdings (M) Sdn. Bhd. and Trip Guard Sdn. Bhd.

"As we celebrate 62 years of Nourishing Our Nation, today represents an exciting new chapter for DLMI. From childhood to parenthood, our milk remains a daily tradition. This is why DLMI is still Malaysia's No. 1 dairy brand; built on trust, quality and care in every stage of life," said Veronika Winanti Wahyu Utami, DLMI's newly appointed Managing Director.

Utami added, "This new Distribution Centre is not just a facility; it's a key enabler of our future ambitions, designed to strengthen our supply chain, support sustainable practices and better serve our customers across the country as we continue nourishing Malaysians now and for generations to come. Importantly, it

also creates valuable employment opportunities for the local community, contributing to health and economic growth in the state."

David Cutter, Chief Supply Chain Officer at FrieslandCampina, emphasised the broader vision behind the project: "What we're celebrating today is FrieslandCampina's long-term commitment to Malaysia and providing better nutrition for all Malaysians. Our investment in Malaysia reflects our strong belief in the country and our dedication to supporting its health and food security agenda."

The new Distribution Centre will be seamlessly integrated, both physically and digitally, with DLMI's manufacturing facility, DLMI@Enstek. This connection enhances operational accuracy, maximises storage efficiency, speeds up order processing and significantly reduces the risk of human error.

With the capacity to store nearly 25,000 pallets, the Distribution Centre is strategically built to enhance the timely and efficient delivery of products to customers across Malaysia. As part of DLMI's sustainability commitment, the facility will be equipped with solar panels on its rooftops by the end of 2025. This green initiative is expected to reduce between 20-25% of the company's total electricity and contribute to a projected 13-16% reduction in carbon emissions as compared to 2022.

The establishment of DLMI@Enstek and its state-of-the-art Distribution Centre marks a proud milestone that underscores the power of public-private collaboration. This achievement would not have been possible without the steadfast support of the Federal government, the Negeri Sembilan state government and the many government agencies involved including the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA), Invest Negeri Sembilan, Jabatan Hal Ehwal Agama Islam Negeri Sembilan (JHEAINS) and Majlis Bandaraya Seremban (MBS). Their commitment to driving industrial growth and fostering a business-friendly environment was instrumental in turning this vision into reality.

The auspicious event was also attended by Puan Zalina Zainol, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of MIDA. Puan Zalina expressed, "DLMI's new Distribution Centre is a meaningful example of how long-term investment can align with national goals for innovation, sustainability and inclusive growth. This new facility brings together advanced automation and smart logistics, while creating jobs and strengthening local supply chains."

She added, "At MIDA, we value partners like DLMI who are committed not just to business success, but also to contributing to Malaysia's economic resilience and development. This milestone reflects the kind of collaborative progress we strive for-where industry, innovation and community come together to create lasting impact."

Concluding the event, Utami reaffirmed the company's long-term vision: "Let us now begin a bold and exciting new chapter-one where this future-ready hub drives continued growth and delivers greater value for all Malaysians."
