CALGARY, July 28 /CNW/ - Marum Resources Inc. (MMU-TSXV) has been advised
by its joint venture partner, San Gold Corporation (SGR-TSXV), that drilling
operations have commenced on the Strike Point (Rice Lake West) joint venture
property. The details of the joint venture option agreement were reported in
the Company's press release of August 19, 2005.
The drill program is designed to search for the westward extension of San
Gold's recently discovered Cartwright gold zone that is located approximately
800 metres west of San Gold's producing Rice Lake gold mine in Manitoba.
The drill program is being carried out by San Gold Corporation, as
project operator, under the supervision of W. S. Ferreira, M.Sc., P.Geo., and
D. Ginn, P.Geo., the Qualified Persons for this project under National
Instrument 43-101.
