Cancellation of the Deferred Shares
Topps Tiles plc today announced that, in accordance with rights set out in its
articles, all outstanding Deferred Shares (in relation to the Single C Share
Dividend) created as part of its recent Return of Cash have been cancelled.
Information relating to such cancellation, and its potential tax consequences,
was detailed in the circular to shareholders dated 7 July 2006 (the 'Circular').
Definitions used in the Circular apply to this announcement.
