CSIR of South Africa purchases ten additional electrochemical cells to conduct demonstration at second mine site in South Africa, the Namakwa Sands Base Metal Mine.

GUELPH, ON, Nov. 17 /CNW/ - Dr. Gene Shelp, President of Enpar
Technologies Inc. (ENPAR) is pleased to announce that the Center for
Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) in South Africa will purchase ten
additional electrochemical cells at a cost of $50,000 for demonstration at the
Namakwa Sands Base Metal Mine in South Africa. Testing at the Namakwa Sands
Mine will be conducted over a period of 3 months.
CSIR and Blue Print Technologies are pleased with positive results to
date at the original South African site, the Bafokeng Mine, where testing will
continue until June 2006.
ENPAR is anticipating the need for additional demonstration units in
South Africa as several potential clients have expressed interest in on-site
testing. Management is confident that additional demonstration sites will
dramatically improve its prospects for commercial contracts in the near term.
ENPAR and partners in South Africa are currently examining various
manufacturing options to enhance the cost competitiveness of the water
treatment technology.
