VANCOUVER, May 10 /CNW/ - KENRICH-ESKAY MINING CORPORATION (the "Company") is pleased to announce that exploration crews have been mobilized to both of its northwestern British Columbia exploration properties. The Company's activities are focused on its large holdings at its Corey Property adjacent to Barrick Gold's Eskay Creek Mine and its Coastal Copper Project in the Anyox Mining Camp.

The Company is fully financed for the following programs of diamond drilling on both properties. Drillng will commence in May, as permitted by late spring snowpack conditions.

Corey Property, Eskay Creek Camp

Integration of last season's diamond drilling, surface stream and rock sampling, lithogeochemical, and airborne magnetic and time-domain EM data has delineated a prominent corridor of exploration targets, extending southward from the Battlement zone, though the Smitty and Cumberland massive sulphide zones and thence, to the prominent, highly altered feeder zone at C 10 zone.

The Company's consulting geologists interpret this mineralized corridor to represent a strong structural break within the original Eskay Rift basin, formed during the time of the volcanism and faulting that spawned the exceptionally rich Eskay Creek gold-silver massive sulphide deposit.

The top priority for diamond drilling in 2007 is testing this mineralized trend as it extends to depth under Mount Madge from the Smitty and Cumberland zones and approaches the feeder zone at C10.

A $6.5 million dollar program is recommended on the Corey property including plans for 16,500 meters of drilling.

Coastal Copper Property, Anyox Camp

Plans for the Coastal Copper are pending a final NI 43-101 compliant report on the latest resource calculation. The primary focus of the 2007 program will be on the Double Ed deposit that saw 27 diamond drill holes totaling 9392 m completed by the Company in 2006. The deposit consists of a surface showing of massive and semi-massive chalcopyrite (copper sulfide) and pyrite, pyrrhotite, and sphalerite hosted by variably and altered mafic volcanic rocks. The subsurface portion of the deposit is interpreted as a folded lens of massive and semi-massive sulfide, true thicknesses varies from 2 metres to greater than 15 metres.. An indicated resource of 1.85 million tones of 1.6% copper, 1.0% zinc and 15.1 g/t silver was delineated in the first drilling program, as previously reported on April 18, 2007. The deposit is open to the north, south and to depth.

An initial drill program of 2,000 m will be conducted, to test the extensions to the Double Ed deposit, prior to committing to a more extensive program later in the 2007 season.
