Cordoba currently owns 100% of the highly prospective San Matias Project located on the northern extension of the prolific and richly endowed Mid Cauca Gold Belt. The San Matias Project covers 26,000 hectares of rolling hills with elevations between 100-150 metres. The project is situated near two operating open pit mines, on the national power grid, and easily accessible to paved national highways and roads.
The company drilled 101.1 metres @ 1.0% copper and 0.65 grams per tonne gold in 2013. Further exploration activities, including drilling, are currently being carried out with the intention to demonstrate a new high grade copper and gold Porphyry district, in a mining friendly location.
