About this update from Ariana Resources Plc

Confirmation of Porphyry by Geophysics: Kiziltepe Sector17 November 2014AIM: AAUCONFIRMATION OF PORPHYRY BY GEOPHYSICS: KIZILITEPE SECTORAriana Resources plc ("Ariana" or "the Company"), the gold exploration and development company focused on Turkey, is pleased to announce the confirmation of a mineralised sub-volcanic porphyry at the Kepez prospect in the Kiziltepe Sector of the Red Rabbit Project ("Red Rabbit"), which it holds in a joint venture with Proccea Construction Co.Highlights:Porphyry identified from geophysics to extend over 2km by 1.8km as part of a 5km diameter volcanic caldera at Kepez.Mineralisation occurs in intensely altered zones and epithermal veins in periphery of the porphyry: rock-chip grades of up to 383 g/t Ag and 41.8 g/t Au.1.1km by 0.2km zone of quartz-sulphide mineralisation cuts across the porphyry and carries grades of up to 0.1 to 0.5 g/t Au.Alteration zones within and surrounding the porphyry are significantly anomalous in molybdenum and antimony.Areas identified for initial drilling based on the geophysical and geochemical data are accessible without requirement for permitting.Kepez prospect located approximately 6km from Kiziltepe, the location of Red Rabbit's first mine which is targeted to commence production in 2015.Dr. Kerim Sener, Managing Director, commented:"The confirmation of a significant volcanic complex containing a mineralised sub-volcanic porphyry at Kepez is a major step-forward for the Company.  This discovery considerably enhances the prospectivity of the entire project area and underpins the potential for significant gold mineralisation to be indentified in the proximity of this porphyry centre.  Evidence for this comes from the recent soil survey results, which highlight the coincidence of geochemical anomalism with high-temperature alteration in the periphery of the intrusion.  Numerous rock-chips collected from various quartz veins developed within or outside of this intrusion are demonstrated to contain significant gold and silver grades in places.  The Kepez Porphyry, located just 6km from the planned Kiziltepe Mine, will become an important focus for future drilling programmes on the project, as we look to expand our resource base across the region.  Areas such as Kepez North, occurring in the immediate periphery of the porphyry, have already demonstrated the potential for...
