Companhia de Saneamento de Minas Gerais - COPASA MG (B3: CSMG3) ("Company" or "COPASA MG"), hereby informs its shareholders and the market in general that, at a meeting held today, its Board of Directors approved, within the context of negotiations for the replacement of current agreements with new concession agreements, under Article 14 of Law 14,026, of 2020, the advance payment of amounts corresponding to the monthly transfers of up to 4% (four percent) of Net Operating Revenue to the Municipal Sanitation Funds, as provided for in ARSAE Resolution 110/2018, limited to the amount projected through December 2028.
The final amount to be early paid, discounted at the applicable regulatory WACC rate, will depend on the municipalities' adherence, and payments will be made in October 2026 and March 2027. The regulatory treatment of the aforementioned early payment is currently under discussion with ARSAE-MG, considering that it refers to the advance payment of amounts owed to municipalities eligible to receive them.
The Company further clarifies that such early payments do not apply to the Municipality of Belo Horizonte, whose rules follow the provisions outlined in the Amendment to the Cooperation Agreement with said Municipality, executed on March 26, 2026, as disclosed in the Material Fact published on that date.
