Colruyt Group completes the sale of its French integrated retail stores Following the conclusion of the investigation by the French competition authorities, Colruyt Group finalised the sale of the business operations (including the automatic transfer of employees) and the real estate assets (where applicable) of 100 stores and 45 DATS 24 fuel stations on 28 February 2026. The stores for which no buyer was found, have been closed. The search for buyers for the real estate of the stores without an acquirer and of the warehouses in Dole Choisey, Dole Wilson and Rochefort-sur-Nenon, as well as the search for an assignee for the lease contract of the warehouse in Gondreville-Fontenoy, is ongoing. As previously indicated, the completion of these transactions will result in several financial impacts: The sale of the stores (including business operations and real estate) will generate, in the second half of financial year 2025/26, cash proceeds of approximately EUR 230 million. The implementation of the majority collective agreement on a job protection plan will result, in the second half of financial year 2025/26, in an estimated restructuring charge between EUR 55 million and EUR 65 million (before any potential tax effects), which will be presented in the consolidated income statement as "result from discontinued operations." Colruyt Group's cash flow statement will be mainly impacted in financial year 2026/27. Other potential financial impacts related to the transactions mentioned above, as well as other one-off effects, which depend among other things on the continued search for buyers for the warehouses and the remaining stores, will be recognised during the year-end closing.
