Bilbao- CIE Automotive today announced the acquisition of 100% of the share capital of the company Weidplas Brasil, Ltda. (hereinafter, Techniplas Brasil, Brazilian subsidiary of the Techniplas group. The value of the transaction (under-value) amounts to about 65 million euros - equivalent to about five times this year's EBITDA. The price of the operation will be paid by CIE Automotive in cash at the closure and will be financed through cash currently available. With about 600 employees and sales in 2024 of approximately 50 million euros , Techniplas Brasil has a plant in Piracicaba, in the state of Sao Paulo , and specializes in the manufacture of high complexity plastic components, including decorative parts and functional components, integrating in their injection processes, bi-injection or dual injection, paint and assembly.
