CIE Automotive acquires the Aludec Group

Bilbao - CIE Automotive today announced the acquisition of 100% of the share capital of the company Aludec, S.A. (hereinafter, ' Aludec '). The value of the transaction (enterprise value) amounts to 200 million euros , which is equivalent to approximately 5 times the EBITDA of the current year. The price of the operation will be paid by CIE Automotive in cash at the closing and will be financed through currently available cash. With nearly 1,300 employees and expected sales in 2025 of approximately 160 million euros , Aludec has 10 production plants distributed in four countries, including Spain , Portugal , Mexico and the United States . The company is a full service supplier of decorative components for automotive, specialized in the manufacture of plastic and metal parts for both the interior and exterior of the vehicle. According to Jesus Maria Herrera , CEO of CIE Automotive , 'The integration of Aludec involves, in the context of our diversification strategy, the creation of a new division of aesthetic components (branding). A transaction that reinforces our positioning as a reference supplier for customers, being able to offer this new line of decorative products globally.'
