China State Construction Engineering : Starry Hill residential project tops out in Belgrade

Recently, CSCEC topped out the main structure of the Starry Hill residential project in Belgrade, Serbia.

The project includes 317 high-quality apartments, 24 business suites, and 34 commercial units, along with supporting facilities, forming a modern, mixed-use community. Upon completion, it will improve living and business conditions and set a new benchmark for livable communities in Belgrade.

The project team faced a high share of underground structures and tight working conditions for exterior wall formwork. To tackle this, the team brought in a customized quick-release formwork system, boosting construction efficiency by more than 30 percent compared with conventional methods. Careful scheduling across multiple work processes kept every stage of construction running smoothly and efficiently.
