RESIGNATION OF NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Halma p.l.c. announces that after long and distinguished service as Deputy
Chairman of the Group, Mr M J Arthur, having attained the age of 65, has
resigned as a Director of the Company with effect from 2 August 2000.
