Change of Officers and Directors.
Griffin Mining Limited ("Griffin" or "the Company") announces that, with effect from 1st October 2026, Roger Goodwin has stood down as the Finance Director of the Company and Asha Santchurn has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer of Griffin and the wider Griffin Group of companies.
Mr Goodwin will remain a director of the Company and the Company Secretary, thereby enabling the Company to continue to benefit from his knowledge and experience from his over 30 years' of service with Griffin.
Ms Santchurn is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and holds a BSc in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics. Prior to joining Griffin, she was an Audit Director at BDO LLP, where she built a career of over fifteen years specialising in the natural resources and energy sector, advising listed and private mining and oil and gas companies operating across China, Africa and the Middle East. She brings deep technical expertise in IFRS financial reporting, corporate governance and robust internal control systems.
Chairman's Statement
Chairman Mladen Ninkov commented, "Needless to say, this is a difficult personal moment for me in the history of the Company. Of course I understand the need for lifting the proverbial foot off the accelerator, but it will be strange not to have Roger so intricately involved on a day to day basis, as he has been for 30 years. He has been at the forefront of many of the Company's vital moments, some pre-dating my involvement, including having performed a significant role in the admission of the Company's shares to AIM in 1997, the transformation of the Company from that of a mining finance house to a fully-fledged mining company and the funding and development of the Caijiaying Mine from a green field site to full production. Thankfully, we will still retain his experience on the Board for some time to come."
