TRADING UPDATE
Speaking at the Annual General Meeting held today, John Rigg, Chairman of
Triad Group Plc, the information systems and software consultancy Group, made
the following statement on the Group's trading.
' Following my statement in the report and accounts for the year ended 31st
March 2000, I am pleased to say that the confidence I expressed then in the
likely outcome of the pilot and proving exercises in which we have been
engaged is turning out to be justified.
' We are now established in substantial programmes with large clients in
markets including financial services and telecomms. As a result, utilisation
levels from August onwards are expected to be stronger than we have
experienced since the impact of the millennium related slow-down was felt in
1999. Because of the timing of the pick-up, the effect on our trading
performance will not become properly apparent until the second half of our
current financial year. I look forward to the outcome of the year with
increasing enthusiasm.
' I would like in particular to thank our staff who have shown dedication and
loyalty over the recent period of uncertainty.'
