Chair tenure extension
SThree plc has announced an extension of its Chair, James Bilefield's, tenure by seven months until April 2027, following shareholder consultation. This extension is intended to allow Mr. Bilefield to oversee the conclusion of the search for a permanent Chief Financial Officer before focusing on Chair succession. Mr. Bilefield, who joined the board in October 2017 and became Chair in April 2018, will have his nine-year term conclude in September 2026, with the extension ensuring continuity during a critical period for the company. 15 June 2026 SThree - Chair tenure extension SThree plc, the global STEM workforce consultancy, announces that, after consultation with shareholders, the Board is extending James Bilefield's tenure as Chair for a seven-month period, until April 2027. This extension allows James, as Chair of the Nomination Committee, to conclude the search for a permanent Chief Financial Officer, before the Nomination Committee turns its focus to Chair succession. James was appointed to the Board in October 2017, becoming Chair in April 2018. James' nine-year term will therefore conclude in September 2026. The Nomination Committee recommended to the Board a short, time-bound extension for James to remain as Chair until the conclusion of the Company's annual general meeting in April 2027.
