Preben Bruggeman Career
Preben Bruggeman has extensive experience in real estate financing, listed companies, and capital markets, with a clear focus on the Belgian GVV/REIT sector.
Since 2019, he has been with Home Invest Belgium, a Belgian listed GVV. In March 2024, he was appointed CEO and Executive Director, after serving as CFO from 2019 to 2024.
From 2015 to 2019, he was CFO at Qrf City Retail, also a listed Belgian GVV.
Before that, Preben Bruggeman worked at Bank Degroof (now Degroof Petercam), where he held various positions in corporate finance and real estate from 2008 to 2019. He was involved in numerous real estate transactions, including capital markets transactions (bond issuances, IPOs, SPOs, and private placements) and M&A transactions.
EducationPreben Bruggeman obtained a Master's degree in Commercial Engineering (Finance) from the University of Antwerp in 2008. He also completed a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy at the University of Antwerp.
In 2012, he successfully completed all three levels of the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) programme.
