BURNABY, BC, Dec. 5 /CNW/ - Frank Barker, Chairman of Canlan Ice Sports Corp. is pleased to announce the appointment of Charles Allen to the Board of Directors of the Company. Mr. Allen is a graduate of the University of Toronto and achieved his Chartered Accountant designation with Clarkson Gordon in 1974. Subsequently he joined CUC Broadcasting Limited, a Canadian Company with broad interests in cable television, telephone, broadcasting, paging, satellite delivered programming services, publishing and personal communication systems. He served as President & CEO of CUC Broadcasting from 1987 to 1995. Mr. Allen is also a Director of P.S. Production Services Ltd. and Terago Networks Inc.
