Brazil's Natura calls shareholder meeting to vote on Avon Industrial merger

Brazilian cosmetics maker Natura BMFBOVESPA:NATU3 said on Friday it had executed a protocol setting the terms and conditions for the merger of Avon industrial into Natura, and called a shareholders meeting on October 31 to vote on the matter. The purpose of the merger is to complete a simplification of organizational structure, Natura said in a securities filing, adding the merger is expected to be completed and take effect on November 1.
