Board role change
Blackbird plc (AIM:BIRD), the technology licensor, developer and seller of market-leading cloud native video editing platform, Blackbird, and developer of the online collaborative video editing and content creation platform, elevate.io, is pleased to announce the appointment of Youri Hazanov, a current non-executive director, as the Company’s interim non-executive Chair.
Blackbird’s Chief Executive Officer, Ian McDonough, had taken on the role of Chair, on an interim basis, following the previous Chair stepping down in June 2025.
In order to follow best governance practice Youri Hazanov has now taken on the role of non-executive Chair on an interim basis.
Youri Hazanov, non-executive Chair, commented: “I would like to thank Ian McDonough for acting as the Company’s interim Chair since June of last year. The Company is continuing its search for a permanent independent non-executive Chair, and we will make further announcements in due course.”
