Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) stands to benefit from likely execution on an asset purchase, Bahana Sekuritas' Razqi M Kurniawan says in a research report. Bahana Sekuritas' recent channel checks suggest the bank has shifted from evaluation to execution on the purchase which the brokerage had previously flagged. The transaction is a value-accretive move for the Indonesian bank, lifting its earnings and return profile in a single fiscal year, the analyst says. The asset's key parameters include deal size of 15.4 trillion rupiah and segment-level return on assets of roughly 3.0%, well above Bank Tabungan Negara's standalone 0.90%. The brokerage raises the stock's rating to buy from hold and the target price to 1,800.00 rupiah from 1,500.00 rupiah. Shares are 0.8% higher at 1,280.00 rupiah. (ronnie.harui@wsj.com)
