Awarded contract for the refurbishment and extension of Frölundabadet in Gothenburg

AF Bygg Väst AB, a subsidiary of AF Gruppen , has been awarded the contract by the City of Gothenburg's real estate administration to carry out the refurbishment and extension of Frölundabadet in Gothenburg . The contract value is SEK 253 million excluding VAT. The project will be carried out as a turnkey contract and includes the renovation, remodelling and extension of the existing swimming facility. The facility was completed in 1980 and forms part of Frölunda Kulturhus, a building of cultural and historical significance. The works include new swimming pools, refurbished and expanded changing rooms, new saunas, toilets and technical rooms, as well as a new slide tower with a water slide. "We are pleased with the confidence shown by the City of Gothenburg in entrusting us with the refurbishment and extension of Frölundabadet.
