CLARIFICATION ANNOUNCEMENT
This announcement is made by the board (the "Board") of directors (the "Director(s)") of Asia Television Holdings Limited (the "Company") and its subsidiaries (collectively the "Group") on a voluntary basis, recently noticed that some people used the names of "Asian Satellite TV* 亞洲衛視", "ATV Asia Satellite TV* ATV亞洲衛視", "Shenzhen Qianhai Asia Star Performing Arts Entertainment Co., Ltd.* 深圳市前 海亞洲星匯演藝娛樂有限公司", "Asian Star* 亞洲星匯", "A.S. FAMILY" and "Miss Asia Global Organising Committee Chairman - Mr. Lau Pak Hang, Alan", "Miss Asia Taiwan Organising Committee Chairman - Mr. Guo Zhenhao* 郭鎮豪先生" , "Zhongtian Integrated Marketing Co., Ltd.* 中天整合行 銷 有 限 公 司 "and "Oriental Allure Biotechnology R&D Co., Ltd.* 東 方 魅 麗 生 技 研 發 有 限 公 司"hereinafter referred as ("These Organisations and Individuals"), claiming to have been authorised to host the 32nd Miss Asia for this year in Taiwan division, These Organisations and Individuals through social media, online video, for example, claimed to have been authorised to host the 32nd Miss Asia for this year, and claimed that it was officially launched on 1 July 2020 in relevant websites and social media.
The Board hereby solemnly clarifies that: -
- it is eminent and well-known that, Miss Asia is a brand that Asia Television Limited ("ATV") has been working very hard to create for many years, it has been held since 1985.
- never authorised These Organisations and Individuals to host the 32nd Miss Asia for this year in Taiwan division, and reiterated that the Company has no connection or relationship with These Organisations and Individuals.
- the Company hereby further solemnly clarifies that ATV is the sole legal holder of the trademarks of Miss Asia, and have authorised Taiwan Asia Momentum Media Ltd.* 台灣亞洲心動娛樂有限公
司, a company established under the laws of Taiwan with limited liability, as the only designated
contractor and exclusive organiser in Taiwan for the 32nd Miss Asia for this year. Other organisations, individuals, networks / live broadcast platforms adopt the trademarks of Miss Asia without the authorisation(s) of ATV, all the rights of ATV will be reserved.

On the other hand, for the case regarding "Shenzhen Qianhai Asia Star Performing Arts Entertainment Co., Ltd.* 深圳市前海亞洲星匯演藝娛樂有限公司", which claimed that it had been authorised to organise Miss Asia 2020 in the Greater China region. On 18 August 2020, the legal representative of the Group in China received a letter from the Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement Bureau of Pilot Free Trade Zone Qianhai & Shekou Area of Shenzhen* 深圳前海蛇口自貿片區綜合行政執法局, confirming that the reported matter meets the conditions for filing and the case was filed. Further announcement(s) will be made to update on the progress of the matter as and when appropriate.
