Antibiotice recently won the 5th tender organized by the National Health Service (NHS), the UK healthcare system, marking another major success in a competitive market. The contract involves over the next two years the supply of 7 million vials containing the five injectable beta-lactam antibiotics (penicillins) to hospitals, the most prescribed medicines in the United Kingdom.
Strengthened position in the international competitionAntibiotice Iași estimates to gain a 43% market share in the UK (compared to the 35% market share recorded in 2021) for the products included in the tender offer, thus ranking among the main European producers in the field of sterile injectable penicillins. The largest manufacturers in Europe and India participate in these tenders, and our company's success reflects not only the cost competitiveness, but also the certified

quality of the products and the guarantee of delivery on time. The Antibiotice's commitment to sustainable development also represents a competitive advantage.
Sustainable expansion into the European marketIn line with the remarkable results obtained in the United Kingdom, Antibiotice Iași expands its operations in the key European markets. Recently, the company won a tender in Italy, involving an annual supply of approximately 400,000 vials. This success will allow reaching an estimated market share of 40% in the therapeutic segment related to the targeted molecule.
Also this year, the company will make its debut in the German pharmaceutical market, the largest market in the European Union, by selling sterile injectable antibiotics, with the objective of achieving annual sales of 2.5 million vials and an effective presence in hospitals starting with the fourth quarter.
Antibiotice has also continued the commercial dialogue in other European markets such as Spain, Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic and Slovakia in order to initiate sales for its products already authorized and to define the priority portfolios to be proposed for registration in the coming period, negotiations being also opened for accessing new markets, such as Croația, France and Austria.
