ANNUAL REPORT AND NOTICE OF AGM
Syntopix Group plc (AIM: SYN), the drug discovery and development company
focused on dermatological diseases, announces that, further to the preliminary
results announcement made on 28 September 2006, the Annual Report and Accounts
2006 has now been posted to shareholders. It is also available on the Company's
website via the link www.syntopix.com/pdf/SyntopixAnnualReport2006.pdf .
The Annual Report includes notice of the Company's Annual General Meeting for
shareholders, which will be held at 12pm on 12 December 2006 at the offices of
Walker Morris, 12 King Street, Leeds LS1 2HL.

About Syntopix Group plc
Syntopix Group plc began as a spin-out company from the University of Leeds.
The Syntopix strategy is designed to reduce the risks and costs of drug
development by avoiding the use of new chemical entities. Flotation on AiM in
March 2006 enabled the Company to take its first candidate products into the
development pipeline. The Company's therapeutic focus is currently on acne and
staphylococcal skin infections. Syntopix has a collaborative approach and will
work with partners in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sector to expedite a
rapid route to market.
