Kodiak Exploration Ltd.: announced that drilling at its 213 square kilometre West Millennium uranium project in the Athabasca Basin of northern Saskatchewan has defined a very large and significant zone of highly altered and uranium mineralized (up to 0.13% U3O8) basin fill sediment and underlying basement rock that extends for over 14 kilometres along strike and remains open.
Kodiak Exploration Ltd. (TSX-Venture: KXL) closed up $0.06 at $0.65 or 10% on the Uranium intercepts announcement.
Diamonds North Resources Ltd.: announced the identification of gold mineralization on its 100% owned Amaruk property in Nunavut. A single reconnaissance grab sample collected from a 3 to 5 metre wide oxidized sulfide zone exposed for 50 metres, yielded 5.8 grams per tonne gold. The prospect is located adjacent to a 2 to 3 kilometre diameter granitic intrusion that appears to have been emplaced along a major structure that extends for more than 40 kilometres on Diamonds North's property.
Diamonds North Resources Ltd. (TSX-Venture: DDN) closed up $0.03 at $0.195 or 18% on the gold mineralization announcement.
