The company announced the addition of a new member to its management committee. Luis Banchero Picasso will assume the role of Vice President of Finance and Transformation of Alicorp as of September 2, 2024.
Banchero has more than 15 years of experience in companies such as Credicorp Ltd, Advent International, Hochschild Mining, and Citigroup, the most recent being Apolo Capital, where he has held the role of CEO since 2018. Throughout his professional career, he has held various positions leading investment and strategy teams, focused on the long-term growth and operational improvements of such companies. In addition, he has extensive knowledge to accompany businesses in their financial strategies and value generation in dynamic and highly uncertain environments. He is an economist from Universidad del Pacifico, and holds an MBA from Stanford University.
Manuel Romero, who held this position, will remain in his role as Deputy General Manager until December of this year. As of January of next year, he will assume new responsibilities in the Romero Group.
