Jul. 25, 2011 (Filing Services Canada) -- Alexander Nubia International Inc. (AAN - TSX Venture), an exploration and development company with diversified minerals projects in Egypt, today provided an update on the current drilling program at its flagship Abu Marawat property.
?We are extremely encouraged by our latest drill results,? said Alexander Massoud, President and CEO of Alexander Nubia Inc. ?Drill hole AAM-035 contains our highest grade gold intersection achieved to date at 29.5 grams of gold per tonne over a core length of three meters. The discovery of new mineralized structures, as found in drill hole AAM-034, suggests the need for further exploration drilling in untested zones. We look forward to completing our infill drill program at Abu Marawat, and completing an initial NI 43-101-compliant inferred resource estimate.?
Highlights of current drill program at Abu Marawat Property:

* true widths are currently unknown and will vary depending on intersection angle of core with vein(s)
* previously reported in June 27, 2011 New Release as Preliminary Assay Results - Significant intervals
* Drill holes AAM -027 through -037 were focussed along five drill fences targeting the FIN vein, some holes were extended to penetrate the CVZ at depth. The FIN vein is traceable along a strike length of over 600 metres is semi-parallel to and from 75 to 100 metres to the west of the CVZ. It remains open to the NW and SE;
* A 3.0-metre intercept in drill hole AAM-035 in the FIN vein contains the highest Au and Ag values encountered in Alexander Nubia?s drill program, along with a high value in Zn and a moderate value in Cu.
* AAM-033 intersected the MID vein over a length of 5 metres; this vein has no obvious surface expression, and occurs midway between the FIN vein and the CVZ. It contains high Cu and moderate Au.
Technical Highlights:
* Additional veins were encountered which have no surface expression;
* Most of the high gold grades are in the south-central part of the deposit;
* The mineralized vein system is proximal to a sub-volcanic, slightly porphyritic rhyodacite intrusion that is elongate parallel to the strike of the veins and is intrusive into older felsic volcanic rocks.
These preliminary results suggest that:
1. Additional veins may be encountered that have no surface expression;
2. The vein system may continue to a greater depth and some veins may unite at depth;
3. The veins, the sub volcanic rhyodacite intrusion, and the broad hydrothermal alteration zone enclosing the veins may be genetically related;
4. Further exploration drilling is required on the southern part of property both along strike and at depth; and
5. Further exploration drilling is required east of the CVZ in zones of untested veins.
Present and Future Programs and Results:
* Summary report of Stage 1 Drilling (7,500 metres) upon receipt of final Assay Certificates;
* Infill drilling program on the CVZ;
* Data compilation and analysis for NI 43-101-compliant technical resource estimate.
The current infill drill program at Abu Marawat Property will continue until August and will focus on zones in the CVZ that have the most significant width, grade, and potential depth.
To date the Company has completed 55 drill holes for a total of 11,455 metres. Results of these holes and those from the current drill program will be used to calculate a NI 43-101-compliant inferred resource that is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2011. Full set of assay results and detailed plan view map are available at www.alexandernubia.com.
AAN Projects
The Abu Marawat project is located in Egypt's Eastern Desert, within the Abu Marawat concession, which covers an area of 1,027 km2. The project hosts gold, silver, copper and zinc mineralization and is near significant infrastructure. Historic assay results defined several prospective targets from which the Company has advanced three properties, Abu Marawat, Hamama and Semna, in the concession and the Abu Zawal property in the nearby Fatiri Concession is also owned by AAN. Semna, Sir Bakis (in the Abu Marawat concession), and Abu Zawal are historic gold mines.
Sample Preparation and Analysis:
Alexander Nubia Inc. processes its drill core through the crushing and pulverizing stage and ships 200 g pulverized samples to ALS-Chemex Laboratories in Romania for Fire Assaying (one assay ton size samples) for gold and Atomic Absorption analysis for silver, copper, and zinc after agua regia digestion. Prior to any analytical work, ALS-Chemex, re-pulverizes the samples to insure homogeneity. From the pulverized material, ALS-Chemex ships a small sample to its laboratory in Vancouver, B.C., Canada for 33 element ICP-AES after a four-acid digestion. Alexander Nubia Inc. adheres to a strict Quality Assurance/Quality Control program for its Drill program. The QA/QC program includes a duplicate sample for every 20 samples submitted, plus three Canadian Certified Standards and two blank samples for each batch of samples sent to ALS-Chemex. AAN also prepares sample rejects and pulps for analysis at an outside laboratory for comparative analysis. On average, samples are shipped weekly and generally consist of approximately 200 samples per shipment.
