Apr. 8, 2011 (Filing Services Canada) -- Alexander Nubia International Inc. (AAN - TSX Venture), ("Alexander Nubia", or 'the Company", or "AAN") is pleased to announce that its current drilling program at Abu Marawat Property has intersected high-grade copper-zinc mineralization in its step-out program along the northern extension of the CVZ vein zone (CVZ).
Drill hole AAM-014, 350 metres north-northwest along strike of the northern limit of the historic resource and drill hole AAM-015, 90 metres northwest of AAM-014. AAM-015 also contains three, one-metre intercepts carrying copper ranging from 2.2 to 4.3 per cent and a one-metre intercept carry 13.15% Zn. Within 50 metres along the length of the core are four other vein intersections from 0.8 to 1.4 metres ranging up to 1.3% Cu and 1.1% Zn.
Preliminary Assay Results (interval averages)
--------------------------------------------------------
Hole Metres Au (g/t) Ag (g/t) Cu (%) Zn (%)
--------------------------------------------------------
AAM - 014 12.9 2.1 46.3 1.43 4.13
Includes 4.8 4.81 114 2.65 6.74
AAM - 015 6 1.9 38.7 2.15 4.35
Includes 4 2.73 53 2.74 6.25
--------------------------------------------------------
In both holes the high-grade vein intersections are 150 metres below the surface. On surface in this region the CVZ is less than one metre wide.
The Company continues to step-out to the north along the CVZ and is currently drilling AAM-020. Drill hole AAM-016 was a 40 metre step-out to the southeast from AAM-014, whereas drill holes AAM-018 and AAM-019, collared together, were spotted 40 metres northwest from AAM-015 (AAM-018 was inclined at -50? and AAM-019 was inclined at -70?). AAM-020 is a step out 40 metre northwest from holes AAM-018 and AAM-019. Two additional, 40 metre step-outs, each, to the northwest from AAM-020 will be drilled next. These future holes will drill under wadi gravel cover and test the blind projected northern extension of the CVZ structure.
Drill hole AAM-017 was collared adjacent to AAM-016 and drilled to the northeast to transect the large geophysical chargeability anomaly, immediately to the east of the CVZ. There are significant vein structures on the both sides of the chargeability anomaly. Due to their position, we postulate a genetic link between these vein structures (CVZ, FIN and other veins) and the chargeability anomaly.
To date, the Company has drilled a total of 3707 metres in 19 holes of a minimum 7500-metre program. In addition to testing the strike length of the CVZ and other parallel structures, AAN is planning to drill into the geophysical anomaly for both sides.
The Company's CEO, Mr. A. Alexander Massoud, states that: "The results of current drilling, indicates that the CVZ is significantly more extensive than previously defined. It remains open along strike and down-dip. Developing a 43-101 compliant resource is our primary objective however the potential for adding to its size also plays a large part in this."
All mineralized portions of drill core up to AAM-019 have been diamond sawed into two halves, with one-half being crushed on site. The crushed samples are riffle split and pulverized to produce a 200 gram sample for analytical work. The pulverized sample is shipped weekly to ALS-Chemex in Romania for fire assaying for gold and atomic absorption analysis for copper, silver, and zinc. ALS-Chemex laboratory prepares a cut for shipment to their facility in Vancouver for ICP analysis. All drill core up to and including hole AAN-017 has been processed and shipped to ALS-Chemex. The Company will announce the results of the analytical work as soon as practical.

About Alexander Nubia International Inc.
AAN is a mineral exploration company whose mission is to explore for precious and base metal by implementing technical expertise of developed mineral-exploration jurisdictions, such as that of Canada, in resource-rich Africa. Initially, AAN established Egypt as its platform country, focusing on the under-developed Nubian Shield in the Eastern Desert, where historic mining of gold and copper dates back to Pharaonic times. AAN controls the Abu Marawat Concession, which covers an area of 1370 km2 in the Eastern Desert. The concession contains the main Abu Marawat, Semna (auriferous quartz veins), and Hamama (VMS) properties and other gold and base-metal exploration targets.
