Alcomet AD has received approval for a grant of BGN 359,583.66 under the "Human Resources Development" Program 2021-2027. The funding is provided within Priority 1, "Promoting Employment and Skills Development," through Procedure BG05SFPR002-1.004 "Adapted Work Environment."
The grant will be used for the implementation of Project BG05SFPR002-1.004-1289, titled "Improvement of Microclimate and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for Employees of Alcomet AD." The project aims to create better working conditions by focusing on adapting the work environment and improving employee safety and comfort.
The total project value is BGN 457,427.38, of which BGN 359,583.66 is non-refundable financial assistance, while BGN 97,843.72 represents the company's own contribution. The project is being implemented in a less-developed region to support local development and improve working conditions in enterprises.
The project includes the procurement of personal protective equipment and specialized workwear to enhance safety measures and ensure a more comfortable work environment. Additionally, it will provide employees with benefits such as renovated and equipped areas for relaxation, rehabilitation, sports, dining, and rest within company premises. The project also involves the development and implementation of "green" labor organization models tailored to the specific needs of different workplaces. As part of this initiative, green process maps will be created, and training sessions will be organized for target group employees to support the adoption of these models.
The project will be executed over a period of 18 months, aiming to improve working conditions, increase workplace safety, and contribute to sustainable local development.
