TRADING SYMBOL: EAM-TSXVenture 12G EXEMPTION No.82-2647
VANCOUVER, Jan. 19 /CNW/ - Ecstall Mining Corporation (TSX Venture: EAM) ("Ecstall") announces that it received the following Akie deposit assay results for drill hole A-2006-41 from Mantle Resources Ltd. Ecstall's Akie zinc-lead property is located in northeastern British Columbia, approximately 280 kilometers northwest of the town of Mackenzie.
Hole A-2006-41 was drilled from the pad for previous hole A-2005-33 and was targeting a 50m down dip stepout directly below the zinc intersection in A-2005-33. Mantle reports that the mineralized intercept in hole A-2006-41 is estimated to be approximately 35 m below the mineralized intercept in hole A-2005-33.
Below is the compiled table of assay results for Akie drill hole A-2006-41:
Hole: A-2006-41.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
From (m) To (m) Interval Zinc (%) Lead (%) Zinc+Lead (%)
(m)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Incl. 596.70 604.35 7.65 7.65 (7.81) 1.49 (1.51) 9.14 (9.32)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
The silver values for the reported intervals range between 12.2 and 14.7 g/t.
The true width of the mineralized intersection is estimated to be 71% of the above reported core intervals however this estimate is subject to revision.
For each of the zinc, lead and silver values presented above, the first figure has been derived from assay data from Acme Analytical Laboratories Ltd. ("Acme"), Vancouver, B.C., and the second, in brackets, has been calculated from confirmatory assays carried out on assay pulps from Acme by Global Discovery Labs, Vancouver, B.C.
Assay Samples and Assay Procedures:
All mineralized core is split by diamond saw and sampled, with a maximum of 1.5 meters of core collected for each sample. These samples are then bagged and shipped in secure containers to Acme Analytical Laboratories Ltd. in Vancouver for analysis for zinc, lead and silver by aqua regia digestion followed by ICP analysis (Group 7A-ICP Multi-Element Assay).
