WORLD OIL PRICES
Oil prices were higher on Friday as concern of conflict between the U.S. and Iran ratcheted up, with Washington saying Tehran will suffer if it does not agree a deal about its nuclear activity within a matter of days.

SOUTH AFRICA MARKETS
The South African rand fell against a stronger dollar on Thursday, as investors awaited key U.S. inflation data that could influence the Federal Reserve's monetary policy path.
AFRICA CURRENCIES
Nigeria's currency is expected to strengthen further against the dollar in the next week to Thursday, while those of Kenya, Ghana, Uganda and Zambia should be little changed, traders said.
KENYA PIPELINE IPO
Kenya's Capital Markets Authority has approved the extension of the closing date of the Kenya Pipeline Company's Initial Public Offering (IPO) by three working days, the East African country's privatization authority said on Thursday.
RWANDA REPO RATE
Rwanda's central bank hiked its key lending rate by 50 basis points to 7.25% (RWREPO=ECI) on Thursday after inflation rose beyond its target band.
IVORY COAST DEBT
Ivory Coast has raised $1.3 billion through a Eurobond issue with a final maturity of 15 years, the finance ministry said late on Wednesday, adding that the issue was oversubscribed by nearly five times.
