Corrado De Gasperis
Executive Chairman, CEO & Director at Comstock

Mr. De Gasperis has over 35 years of experience in industrial manufacturing, finance, governance, operations, and project management in metals, mining, and recycling. He has been Comstock's CEO since 2010 and executive chairman since 2015. Previously, he served as CEO of Barzel Industries and held various roles at GrafTech International. Mr. De Gasperis is also a director and chairman of the Board of Directors of LiNiCo Corporation, a director of ROK-On Building Systems, and the founding member and chairman of the Board of Directors of the Comstock Foundation for History and Culture. He holds a Bachelor of Business Arts degree from Western Connecticut State University.

Dev Chidambaram, PhD
Professor and Nevada Regents Researcher at University of Nevada, Reno

Dr. Dev Chidambaram, a Nevada Regents Researcher and Professor of Chemical and Materials
Engineering at the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR), is also director of the Nevada Institute for
Sustainability. His research expertise is in electrochemical engineering and materials characterization.
Chidambaram designed and implemented the nation’s first minor in Batteries and Energy Storage
Technologies at UNR. He has been the principal investigator on nearly ~$20 million in research grants.
He is also the technical lead for the NSF Engines award to Northern Nevada on Lithium Circular
Economy. He is the author on ~ 250 publications and presentations. His work has been recognized with
research awards from various professional societies such as the Electrochemical Society, the
International Society for Electrochemistry, the American Vacuum Society, the Society for Applied
Spectroscopy, amongst others.
