Speaker 1: Good morning and welcome to the 2026 Speaker 1: half-year results presentation Speaker 1: for the GYM Group. Speaker 1: Thank you for making time to join us in the room and on the dial-in. Speaker 1: After the presentation, we'll take your questions in the room 1st and then from the webcast. Speaker 1: Our CFO Luke Tate and I will be doing the presenting today. Speaker 1: And here's what we plan to cover. I'll start with an overview before handing to Luke to share our 2026 Speaker 1: 0.5 year financial results. Speaker 1: I'll then provide a further progress report on our next chapter growth plan and summarise before taking your questions. Speaker 1: So, starting with the overview. Speaker 1: I'm pleased to report a strong performance for the 1st 0.5 of 2026. Speaker 1: Average membership was up 5%, Speaker 1: with revenue for the period up 10%, 3% on a like-for-like basis. Speaker 1: With this revenue growth and continued cost discipline, Speaker 1: EBITDA less normalised rent was up 12% Speaker 1: to £30.8 Speaker 1: million. Speaker 1: The market remains highly attractive. Speaker 1: UK gym penetration Speaker 1: has reached another new high at circa 18% Speaker 1: with high value low cost gyms continuing to grow share. Speaker 1: Within our next chapter growth plan, we continue to strengthen the core, supporting further progress in mature site performance and heroic. Speaker 1: And we continue to accelerate the rollout of quality new sites. Speaker 1: We expect to open at least 20 gyms in 2026, Speaker 1: all funded from free cash flow.
