[Speaker identities could not be resolved; generic labels used] [00:08] Speaker 1: Hello everyone and welcome to a [00:10] Speaker 1: 6 webinar. [00:12] Speaker 1: My name is Peter Kraut and thanks for attending. Today we're going to talk about whether and if so how you should invest in silver. [00:22] Speaker 1: So let's just start with silver itself and understand a little bit about what makes it really quite different. So silver is unique. [00:30] Speaker 1: If you look at all of the metals around, both base metals and precious metals, silver is really the only 1 that is both. It's considered a monetary and an industrial metal. We've never lived an extended period like that. And unbacked currencies tend to go to their intrinsic value which is essentially 0. [01:28] Speaker 1: So [01:29] Speaker 1: let's move on. [01:32] Speaker 1: Right now official inflation is running [01:35] Speaker 1: probably north of 8%. [01:37] Speaker 1: If you look at unofficial inflation and you [01:40] Speaker 1: consider other measures, it's probably almost double that. [01:45]...
