[00:12] Speaker 2: How are you today, Dan? I'm well, Romeo. Great to see you. [00:16] Speaker 1: I've got a few questions today about your history. I'm not gonna say ancient history. You're still a young man. [00:22] Speaker 1: Then we'll zoom into the present, talk about 1st mining, some of the projects, but let's get right into it. Sure. [00:30] Speaker 1: So with BCOM from Queens, go Gales, [00:32] Speaker 1: curious if mineral extraction [00:34] Speaker 1: was always on your mind or if the career kind of took you there over time? [00:39] Speaker 2: Yeah, no, it wasn't despite the fact, [00:42] Speaker 2: we knew a bunch of people [00:45] Speaker 2: in my kind of cohort at Queen's, who went into mining engineering, and all the people I know who went into mining engineering, I don't think any of them actually worked at a mine, [00:54] Speaker 2: as it turns out. So, [00:57] Speaker 2: but, so I knew a little bit about it there, but not really. My entry into the mining sector came almost completely by accident. [01:06] Speaker 2: I started my career at Morgan Stanley in New York in the mergers and acquisitions group, kind of part of a generalist pool of analysts. [01:15] Speaker 2: And we'd just gone through our training and at the end of the training, [01:20] Speaker 2: you know, the staffer came around on Friday and everyone's super keen to get their 1st assignment [01:26] Speaker 2: and, you know, he said it's a mining project.
