Nermina is capital project management expert with degree in automation / electrical engineering. She has over 35 years of experience and excellent track record on development, execution and oversight of mining and energy projects, including some of the world’s largest installations of its kind.
With emergence of AI tools Nermina added focus on adoption of AI in mining industry. She organizes monthly "AI for Mining Industry" webinars, featuring top AI tool development companies. Additionally, she regularly contributes to "The Intelligent Miner," advocating for the integration of AI in mining.
She is founder of O-MOD management/advisory and AI adoption consultancy and initiator of capital project management/advisory platform OreBit.

Ingrid Hibbard
President and CEO at Pelangio Exploration Inc.

Ms. Hibbard is an experienced international mining CEO with over 22 years of experience in six publicly traded Canadian mineral exploration companies. Notable achievements include negotiating the acquisition of the Detour gold mine property for Pelangio Larder Mines and participating in founding Detour Gold Corp., a Canadian gold mining company which attained a market capitalization in excess of $5 billion. Ms. Hibbard also negotiated the acquisition of a district size land package in Ghana, adjacent and on strike with the 70 million ounce Obuasi Mine owned by AngloGold Ashanti and currently being redeveloped. Ms. Hibbard has over 30 years of experience spanning all facets of the mineral resources industry from early-stage exploration to mine development and production. She has a track record of successfully identifying and developing mineral projects by situating them strategically in the market cycle in order to maximize shareholder value. Independent director and board advisor on numerous corporate boards and chaired Compensation, CSR and Corporate Governance Committees. Prior to her stewardship of public companies, Ms. Hibbard began her career in mining by practicing corporate and securities law with clients ranging from multi-national mining operators to mineral resource explorers and individual prospectors.

James Cormier Chisholm
President at Eureka Maps Inc

James Cormier Chisholm is the owner of Eureka Maps Inc., a company that leverages advanced technology to locate valuable minerals. The company's approach minimizes environmental and societal impact, making mining operations smarter and more efficient. Through innovative methods, Eureka Maps has successfully reduced the exploration timeline for metal mines from 15-19 years to just 2-3 field seasons.
Prior to founding Eureka Maps, Chisholm served as a mine consultant and was the principal responder for all studies related to mine permitting for Voisey's Bay under a former federal government. His experience extends to successfully launching major infrastructure projects both within Canada and internationally.

Kyle McCall
Director, Commercialization Services and Member Relations at Centre for Excellence in Mining Innovation (CEMI)

Kyle has worked in Canada’s innovation ecosystem for over 10 years, supporting Canadian companies by connecting them to the resources they need to grow and scale their ventures, as well as innovate and commercialize new products and services. His experience includes time spent with leading innovation organizations NORCAT, managing their regional innovation centre, Canada’s Tech Network, and the Ontario Centre of Innovation (OCI) as a Business Development and Commercialization Manager. Kyle understands what makes for a dynamic innovation ecosystem. He is focused on building the MICA network, helping MICA member companies benefit from programming, events, funding opportunities, and facilitating meaningful connections across the network.
