Hsinchu, Taiwan, R.O.C., July 25, 2017 -Young Optics Inc. (3504.TW) today announced its financial results for the second quarter of 2017. All figures were prepared in accordance with Taiwan-International Financial Reporting Standards ('T-IFRSs') on a consolidated basis.
For the second quarter ended June 30, 2017, Young Optics posted consolidated sales revenue of NT$1046 million. Gross profit was reported at NT$180 million with the gross margin of 17.00%. Net loss was reported at NT$45 million and the basic EPS was NT$-0.39 per common share.
For the first two quarters of 2017, Young Optics reported consolidated sales revenue of NT$1,895 million. Gross profit was reported at NT$347 million with the gross margin of 18%. Loss before tax was reported at NT$111 million. Net loss was reported at NT$112 million and the basic EPS was NT$-0.97 per common share.
