York Water to Acquire Wastewater System in Paradise Township, Lancaster County

York, Pennsylvania, September 17, 2026 - The York Water Company (NASDAQ: YORW), a trusted provider of water and wastewater utility services across southcentral Pennsylvania for the past 210 years, announced today that it has reached an agreement with Paradise Township Sewer Authority to acquire the wastewater treatment and collection assets currently serving the residents of Paradise Township, Lancaster County.

The York Water Company's operational and management expertise and attentive investment in utility infrastructure will ensure that the wastewater services in Paradise Township are reliable for years to come. This important acquisition will allow Paradise Township municipal officials to focus on broader community priorities, while the York Water team supports those priorities with sustainable wastewater solutions.

Pending approval from the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, this acquisition will add over 700 wastewater customers to the Company's expanding wastewater portfolio. The York Water team is keenly focused on affordability of utility services and will prioritize improving treatment and collection system enhancements and efficiencies while providing a superior customer experience.
