TORONTO, July 29 /CNW/ - Wilmot Matthews announced today that he acquired beneficial ownership of 8,232,803 common shares (the "Common Shares") of Resin Systems Inc. ("RS") in connection with the exercise of rights allocated to Mr. Matthews under the rights offering of RS (the "Rights Offering") and pursuant to his stand-by obligation under the Rights Offering. Mr. Matthews now beneficially owns or exercises control or direction over, directly and indirectly, an aggregate of 20,494,803 Common Shares. This represents an approximate 11.14% interest in RS based upon the 183,966,446 Common Shares currently outstanding, after giving effect to the aggregate number of Common Shares issued in connection with the closing of the Rights Offering. Mr. Matthews may, from time to time, acquire additional securities of RS.
