WINNIPEG, April 3 /CNW/ - Wildcat Exploration Ltd. (WEL - TSX.V) is pleased to report assay results from holes JP-07-09, JP-07-10 and JP-07-11. The drill holes were collared 300 meters southeast of the historic Jeep mine shaft. All three holes were drilled from this location at angles of -67, -58 and -45 degrees, respectively.
Significant gold values intersected include 56.38 gpt gold over 0.38 meters from 204.39 to 204.77 meters in hole JP-07-10. Additional significant gold values intersected include 17.63 gpt gold over 0.72 meters in hole JP-07-11 from 183.00 to 183.72 meters (see table below).

These holes were drilled 35 meters southeast of hole JP-06-05 (which intersected 109.5 gpt gold over 0.78 meters; see press release dated December 11, 2006).
All holes were drilled to test the southeastern extension of the No. 1 gold-bearing quartz vein of the former Jeep Gold mine, and to test for Ni-Cu-PGE concentrations within the disseminated and massive sulphides surrounding this vein.
JP-07-09
--------
JP-07-09 was drilled 35 meters southeast of hole JP-06-05 at an angle of -67 degrees. The hole intersected the interpreted No.1 vein structure at 269.92 meters downhole. The vein assayed 1.46 gpt Au over 0.43 meters.
JP-07-10
--------
This hole was drilled on the same site as JP-07-09, but at an angle of -58 degrees. An interval of anomalous Ni-Cu-PGE concentrations was intersected in this hole. Extending from 93.03 to 98.39 m downhole, the interval assayed 0.16 gpt Au, 1.9 gpt Ag, 0.17% Cu, 0.40% Ni, 90 ppm Co, 58 ppb Pd and 43 ppb Pt over 5.36 meters. This intersection includes 1 meter of 0.19 gpt Au, 2.4 gpt Ag, 0.2% Cu, 0.83% Ni, 160 ppm Co, 60 ppb Pd and 25 ppb Pt from 97.03 to 98.03 meters.
JP-07-11
--------
Two significant mineralized zones were intersected in hole JP-07-11. This hole was drilled on the same site as JP-07-09 and JP-07-10, at an angle of -45 degrees.
The first zone, a wide interval of Ni-Cu-PGE anomalous mineralization, was intersected from 102.7 meters to 116.1 meters downhole assaying 0.25 gpt Au, 1.9 gpt Ag, 0.2% Cu, 0.28% Ni, 83 ppm Co, 46 ppb Pd and 45 ppb Pt over 14.4 meters. This intersection includes 0.3 gpt Au, 2.2 gpt Ag, 0.27% Cu, 0.64% Ni, 140 ppm Co, 70 ppb Pd and 100 ppb Pt from 106.1 to 107.1 meters.
A second significant zone of Ni-Cu-PGE mineralization was intersected including 2.63 gpt palladium, 25 ppb platinum, 0.59% nickel, 0.19% cobalt, 0.31 gpt gold, 2.6 gpt silver and 0.23% copper over 0.3 meters from 214.87 to 215.17 meters. This mineralization consisting of disseminated fine-grained pyrrhotite is hosted by an intensely deformed shear zone characterized by finely banded chloritized amphibole interlayered with quartz bands in tension gashes.
