CALGARY, July 14 /CNW/ - Watertowne International Inc ('Watertowne'; 'the
Company'), a leader in Canada's 18.9 litre/5 gallon franchised water home
delivery market and exclusive manufacturer and marketer of Sears Canada's
Sears Premium Waters, announced today that, as of July 14, 2005, the Company
has 43 franchises in operation, an increase of 28% from the 32 previously
announced October 2004.
Watertowne has deposits secured for additional franchises located in
Saskatchewan and Ontario which are expected to close in July.
The Company further wishes to announce that Chief Financial Officer and
Corporate Controller W.J. (Bill) Ackerman has tendered his resignation,
effective June 30, 2005. Mr. Ackerman will be leaving to pursue other
professional interests. "We're sad to see him leave, but wish him only the
