TORONTO, April 3 /CNW/ - Washmax Corp. ("Washmax") (NEX BOARD: WMC.H) announced today that the Letter of Intent dated March 5, 2008 between Washmax and NewEdge Gold Corporation ("NewEdge"), pursuant to which Washmax and NewEdge agreed that Washmax would acquire all of the outstanding shares of NewEdge, has been terminated upon the agreement of Washmax and NewEdge.
Washmax originally announced on March 5, 2008 that it had entered into a Letter of Intent to acquire all of the outstanding shares of NewEdge.
In accordance with the rules of the NEX Board of the TSX Venture Exchange, resumption of trading in the common shares of Washmax is subject to completion of a review of the company by the Exchange.
